Bryce Dallis Howard Replaces Rachelle Lefevre in Twilight!

Bryce Dallas Howard has replaced Rachelle Lefevre in Eclipse, the third installment of the Twilight series. Lefevre played the role of Victoria in Twilight and New Moon, but Summit Entertainment says “scheduling conflicts” forced her to leave the flick.

Erik Feig, Summit’s president of worldwide production and acquisitions issued the following statement: “We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise. Rachelle brought Victoria to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.”

The film starts shooting in Vancouver in August, and it’s scheduled to hit the big screen on June 30, 2010.

Was it really a scheduling conflict though? Or is it because Bryce is a bigger star? Hmm…

Please sign the petition below if you would like Rachelle to stay as Victoria.  I know we here at Robert Pattinson Obsession want her to remain our beautiful Victoria.
