The Official Twight Convention is coming to the New York-New Jersey area for the the first time August 28-30. Here’s a lineup of the stars who are confirmed to attend and the latest updates on the show.

Creation Entertainment which is putting on the convention is promsing panels, themed parties, autographs, photo ops, live music and more.
There is no word yet on whether Rob Pattinson, Taylor Lautner or Kristen Stewart will be attending any of the conventions. So far, Creation and Summit Entertainment have not returned phone calls.
For security reasons, the companies probably would not announce their appearances too far in advance of the conventions, if at all. But the line up is constantly changing and suprise appearances are always possible.
Among the stars confirmed or tentatively slated to attend:
Catherine Hardwicke, Twilight director’s will appear on Friday. Catherine helmed the first film for a then troubled Summit Entertainment and made the movie on a minimal $37 million budget. But she did a lot with very little and created a film that has become an international phenomenon.
Jackson Rathbone, Twilight’ss Jasper Hale’s appearance is tentative and pending professional availability as with all guests. If he can make it, he will attend on Sunday.
Kellan Lutz, Twilight’s Emmet Cullen, 90210’s George Evans will appear Saturday and Sunday
Ashley Greene, Twilight’s Alice Cullen will appear Saturday and Sunday.
Justin Chon, Twilight’s Eric Yorkie will be appearing on Friday
Kiowa Gordon Embry Call of The Wolf Pack will be appearing Saturday & Sunday.
Chaske Spencer, New Moon’s Sam Uley. Chaske is a Native American/First Nation actor and his tribe is Lakota. He’s appearing Saturday & Sunday
Michael Welch was scheduled to attend but according to the latest update, filming requirements for his part in “Eclipse” he is unable to appear in New Jersey.
He has filmed a special video for his fans at the convention. Gordon (Embry Call) and Spencer (Sam Uley)l will sub for him.
All those with separate autograph tickets and photo op tickets with Welch can use those tickets (which you should have or will soon receive in the mail) at the convention for cash to purchase new autograph, photo op or admission tickets or any Creation Twilight merchandise.
If you would prefer to have a refund for your Michael Welch separate autograph and/or photo op tickets please send the unused tickets back to Creation, 217 South Kenwood, Glendale, CA 91205, Attention: ED.
Billy Burke will also not attend the New Jersey convention. Billy is upset that he will not be able to meet his New Jersey fans and hopes that he can see them in the future.
