OK! magazine is out with a new issue that obviously strives to achieve some goal other than accurate news reporting.
In fact, the only discernible goal is to get you to buy the publication as a result of its attention-grabbing headline: Robert Stewart and Kristen Stewart are engaged.
From OK Magazine:
“If Kristen is looking for Rob, she’ll say, ‘Has anyone seen my husband?’ ” says an insider. “And Rob loves to say ‘Have you met my lovely wife, Kristen?’ It’s cute. They’re like a couple of love-struck teenagers.”
As my colleagues at E! Entertainment Television implied when this headline about the Twilight stars first broke, can OK! really get away with that headline when the entire story is largely based on “insider” comments such as the one cited above?
How much more of this can Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart take?
At some point, the global media will have to accept that, although there may have been a few sparks of real life romance as is common between some co-stars, there is no evidence to suggest that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are engaged, married, moving in together, having a baby, raising a puppy, sharing a toothbrush, opening a joint library card, or any other ridiculous accusation these two have endured in real life.
